Celebrity designed Sony VAIO auction for charity

Sony has “hired” six A-list celebrities to help design Sony VAIO FJ series notebooks for an upcoming auction. The celebrities will all add their own style to the VAIO laptops.

Jessica Alba, Elijah Wood, Wilmer Valderrama, Mark Ruffalo and hip couple DJ AM and Nicole Richie all signed up as designers.

The pimped out VAIO FJ laptops will be on display at the SonyStyle store in the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. From there, the laptops will go on tour, stopping at four SonyStyle stores in Los Angeles, Houston, New York City, and finally in Las Vegas.

After their tour, the laptops will be auctioned on eBay from January 9th to January 23rd. All proceeds will me matched by Sony and then donated to America’s Second Harvest.
