Performance

The Keys Logitech MX uses Bluetooth for connectivity and supports multi device connectivity. It can connect to up to three devices across different operating systems. With Logitech Flow technology, you can also move files between a macOS and Windows computer using a Flow enabled Logitech mouse such as the MX Master 3. However, you will need the Logitech Options software installed on both devices. Want a keyboard with a touchpad? Try the Logitech K400 Plus.

Design

The MX Keys wireless keyboard is made from a single slab of metal, and you can feel the rigidness when you use it. The keyboard comes with low profile dished keys that help you type better and are very sturdy similar to a mechanical keyboard. It features smart backlighting, which uses a proximity sensor to turn on the illumination when your hand approaches. The full size keyboard also features function keys and a number pad. Also check out the Rii i4 Mini, which is a compact keyboard.

Value

This MX series keyboard is good value for money thanks to features such as Flow control, smart illumination, and the inclusion of a rechargeable battery. The keyboard also comes with a USB Type C port for charging, and can last up to 5 months with backlighting off. With it turned on, you still get up to 10 days of usage. The Logitech Options software helps you configure the F keys and monitor battery life. If you want a more modest keyboard, then try the Arteck HB030B Slim.

Logitech MX Keys Wrap Up

The MX Keys may earn the ‘Magic Keyboard’ name due to the Flow control feature, which allows it to seamlessly move files from one device to another. You also get backlit keys with smart proximity sensor, a rechargeable battery, and multi device connection support. If it had adjustable feet, this would be the perfect keyboard in its price range.
