People don’t always like to go for color laser printers, now that inkjet printers are available for cheap. And with a name like “Brother HL-L8360CDW,” people are more likely to turn away from it. But if you can live with the downsides of a color laser printer, this is the best office printer and the best printer for small businesses at this price. It also has what it takes to be one of the best printers for art prints and probably the best printer you can buy today!

Why We Like It – Brother All-In-One Laser Color Printer

The Brother All-In-One Laser Color Printer is a very unique laser printer that comes with great specs for its price. Uniqueness doesn’t always mean good, but the Brother All-In-One Laser Color Printer is actually very good. And you’re going to see that in our review. You can check out our guide on top laser printers for more great laser options. For another high-volume printer, you can read our Canon Pixma G6020 review.

Pros
  • Automatic double-sided printing
  • Amazon Dash Replenishment ready
  • Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi | Included ink toner yield of 3000 pages (black/white) and 1800 pages (Color)
Cons
  • Doesn’t have a scanner or copier

Speed

The Brother HL L8360CDW multifunction printer is very fast and can print out up to 33 pages per minute (black-white), which is much faster than the 11 pages per minute of the Canon Pixma TS9120. And the triple-layer security features don’t degrade the printing speeds in any way, which is good. But, if you’d prefer a monochrome and color printer, read our Brother MFC-J880DW review and our Brother INKvestmetn MFC-J985DW.

Print Quality

You can select up to 2400 x 600 DPI in the options, and that’s perfectly fine for office use and if you’re using designated laser paper. The print quality is also reasonably good. And that statement holds true even when you enable double-sided printing (duplex printing). But then again, it won’t hold a candle to a high-quality print copy from higher-end home printers. Read our Brother HL-5100DN review for another printer with similar print quality.

Efficiency

Obviously, this color laser printer is not going to be as power-efficient as modern inkjet printers. But it’s at least better than the Brother MFC lineup. And this printer has support for a lot of different ink toner cartridges. So even if yours runs out, you can easily find a replacement one. Read our Brother MFC-L3770CDW laser review for a printer with efficient toner usage. Check out our HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 E review for another efficient printer.

Advanced Features

This Brother All-In-One Laser Color Printer features an adjustable paper tray (250 paper capacity) with slots for adding more, which’s perfect for a small office. However, not having the “print scan” option and an automatic document feeder at this price really hurt this printer a lot. In that case, read our Brother Inkjet Printer review for a printer with a print scan option.

Value

Overall this Brother All-In-One Laser Color Printer provides pretty good value for the money you spend on it. Also, the Amazon Dash Replenishment service is a godsend. It measures the toner level and automatically orders more from when it’s low. But if you can stretch your budget a bit more, you can also get the Brother MFC-L3770CDW Laser printer.

Brother All-In-One Laser Color Printer Wrap Up

Nowadays, with smart home devices and mobile printing becoming a standard, the Brother HL L8360CDW Wi-Fi printer holds up just fine. And with its $350 price point for a home office, you can’t go wrong with this printer.
