VIZIO is expanding its product lineup and has just announced their latest device, the Co-Star Google TV set-top box. Known for their inexpensive HDTVs, they’ll begin selling the Co-Star starting this month for $99.99 and contain numerous features that set it apart from other video streaming devices. Users will have instant access to thousands of apps, have full-screen web browsing capabilities via Google Chrome with Adobe Flash Player and HTML 5 support and have the best in streaming entertainment from one intuitive box. In addition to traditional video streaming and Google TV features, the VIZIO box will also include support for OnLive’s streaming gaming service, getting access to tons of to demo, watch and play hundreds of top-tier video games directly from ‘the cloud’ without the need of an additional gaming console.

Since it can connect to a cable or satellite box, viewers can watch live TV alongside the web, apps, OnLive cloud gaming, and other streaming entertainment without interrupting what you’re already watching. Users will enjoy favorite apps like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, M-GO, YouTube,  iHeartRadio and more.  Included is a universal touchpad remote with keyboard that eliminates the need to switch TV inputs or remotes to access alternative content, providing you with a truly smart TV experience. The Co-Star also supports 1080p video over HDMI, 802.11n wireless, a USB port for storage and peripherals, and a Bluetooth remote has a QWERTY keyboard on its reverse side. You can also enjoy photos, music, and movies from any DLNA-enabled phone, tablet, or computer on the TV screen with the device.
