The Duramont ergonomic adjustable office chair is, by all means, a top-tier executive chair that’ll keep you nice and cozy as you carry on with your day-to-day work at the office, or even at home. The breathable mesh executive chair has a wide range of adjustable features that help you fine-tune it down to your actual preferences, and is also made of high-quality materials that’ll keep it in good condition for a long time of use. The ergonomic chair also comes with adjustable lumbar support that you can use to find the position that makes your lower back feel the most comfortable. Could this be the best lumbar support for an office chair? Well, we think it comes pretty close. Stick around, and we’ll review what else the chair offers. Speaking of offers, also check out what the best office chair has to offer.

Why We Like It – Duramont Ergonomic Office Chair

The Duramont Ergonomic Adjustable Office Chair may be a bit expensive compared to most office chairs, but it does come with a 90-day money-back guarantee, an attached headrest, and adjustable back support – features that make it completely worthwhile.

Pros
  • Adjustable back support
  • 330-pound weight capacity
  • 90-day money-back guarantee
Cons
  • Slightly expensive

Support

In our opinion, the adjustable lumbar support that this Duramont ergonomic adjustable office chair comes with is probably the only reason that you’re going to have to pay over $300 for it. The lumbar support on this chair allows you to pinpoint the exact position on your back where you’d do with just a little more adjusting, so that your spine remains in the most comfortable position for you to work. This is something that you won’t get on the AmazonBasics High-Back Office Chair, but then again, the Duramont high-back ergonomic adjustable office chair is almost twice as expensive, so you should really consider getting it if your back is a serious issue. Comfort

The padded seat cushion (as you’ll see on the Ergonomic kneeling chair) on the Duramont adjustable office chair makes it very comfortable to sit on, and the mesh back also comes with an attached headrest that should be very useful whenever you lean back. The ergonomic office chair’s padded armrests are also quite comfortable to rest your hands on, and the rollerblade wheels allow you to reach over anything you might need to. Also worth mentioning is that you’ll be able to make the backrest tilt back up to 120 degrees, but if this is not enough for you, the Homall chair can go as far as 180 degrees, basically allowing you to lie flat down on it.

Adjustability

As we’ve mentioned before, one of the most alluring aspects of this ergonomic office chair is its ability to adjust almost everything on it. You’ll be able to raise or lower the seat height from between 16.9 inches to 20.8 inches from the floor, which is also quite close to the height range of the drafting tall office chair. The arms on the Duramont breathable mesh back office chair are also adjustable and can be raised by slightly more than an inch, but you won’t be able to flip them up and get them out of the way if you wanted to. If you don’t mind not having armrests, you can also read our Serta essential mesh low back computer desk task chair review and see if it will suit your needs as well.

Breathability

To sit on a chair comfortably for long hours on end, you would need a seat cushion that doesn’t trap in air, and this would be the mesh fabric that the Duramont seat is made of. The chair provides a much better alternative compared to a typical leather chair, which would get warmed up very fast. Read our Knoll ReGeneration review for another great alternative. For an all-mesh chair with the most breathability, read our NeueChair review. However, if you don’t mind leather or fabric, you can check out our Serta ergonomic office chair review.

Value

If you buy this chair and find out that it doesn’t live up to your expectations, you can return it and get your money back, but make sure you do so within 90 days from the date of purchase The 90-day money-back guarantee is there to give you the confidence that helps you cross that bridge if you’re skeptical, and encourages you to only stay with it if you’re 100% satisfied. Once you buy it, you’ll also find it relatively easy to put together, and its weight capacity of up to 330 pounds is good enough proof that the chair is of very high build quality.
