Product Snapshot
Overview
The Amazon Basics Low-Back Chair is an entry-level, low-back chair first announced in 2019. While the chair is not quite as comfortable as some of the best office chairs on the market, it is still relatively easy to adjust, and weighing only 17 pounds, it’s not very difficult to move around. The chair has a maximum weight capacity of 275 pounds and a 2-inch padded seat for added comfort.
There are also pneumatic controls for raising and lowering the seat height, and its back support is made of mesh material for good breathability. Assembling the chair is also relatively easy.
While the AmazonBasics Low-Back Chair may have a mesh backrest and 2-foot padding on its seat, it misses out on adjustable lumbar support, so it is not ideal for users requiring lower back support. It also doesn’t have side arms. The chair has easy adjustability, with pneumatic controls under the seat that adjust the seat height, set by default to 20.5 inches.
Unfortunately, there’s no recliner for its backrest, but the chair has a commendable 275-pound maximum weight capacity and is easy to assemble. It also swivels smoothly.
