Not too many people can boast about owning a transportable home. If you don’t know what “transportable” is, don’t worry, we didn’t either until we looked it up. Transportable simply means it can be carried, or moved, which is exactly the case for the Fincube. But hold your horses, cause this home isn’t available at your local Home Depot.
It’s designed by y Berlin based Architecture company Studio Aisslinger, and currently sits near Bozen in Northern Italy, sporting views of the Dolomite mountains. Serenity aside, this home provides 47m of square footage, which based on our calculations is about 500 square feet. So by no accounts is it a mansion, but nor could it be in order to maintain is low CO2 footprint.
The entire wooden structure provide 360 degree views and measures about 9 feet high. Because the Fincube home sits in just 2 meters of dirt, it can be easily dug up and moved another location. Though it’s not detailed, the house can be managed using a central touchpanel system, though that will be a second thought in respect to the interior design and opulent views.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
