The Boss Office classic traditional button tufted guest chair is a one-of-a-kind centerpiece that adds a touch of class in whatever room you choose to place it in. The chair boasts of a sophisticated mahogany wood finish, and weighs about 57 pounds. Its classic traditional button tufted styling is something that you’ll not see in many office setups today, and with a weight capacity of 250 pounds, the wingback traditional chair is perfectly able to support most people as they sit on it. Could it be the best executive leather office chair for you? How does it stack up against the best office chair? Let’s go ahead and find out.

Why We Like It – Boss Office Products Wingback Traditional Chair

The Boss Office Products wingback traditional chair is an executive guest office chair that comes with elegant mahogany wood finish on all components, hand-applied brass nails, and, like most brand Boss-related products, is pretty easy to put together.

  • Easy to assemble
  • Classy and Sophisticated design
  • High Backrest
  • No swivel or tilt abilities

The Boss Office Wingback traditional button tufted styling guest chair isn’t as capable as the AmazonBasics High-Back Office Chair in regards to lumbar support, and this is because the seat’s backrest isn’t able to adjust in any way when leaning back onto it. The chair might be perfect for anyone who doesn’t have a history of back issues, or anyone who doesn’t have a problem not being able to lean back.

This Boss Office Wingback Traditional Chair offers way more comfort than you’d get from the OFM Essentials Collection Racing Style SofThread Leather High Back Office Chair, but this does come with its own set of limitations. The Boss wingback chair comes with wooden stands instead of caster wheels, meaning you’ll not be able to move it without lifting it up. It does come with padded armrests, but they’re not at all movable, just like the BossOffice Products leather sled base side chair.

There’s very little to say about the Boss Office Wingback chair in terms of its adjustability, and this is because there are not many things you can change to fit your preferences once you buy it. Unlike the Serta Bonded Leather Big & Tall Executive Chair, it doesn’t come with a pneumatic gas lift, and neither does it allow for seat height adjustment.

On the other hand, if you need a fully adjustable chair, you’ll want to read our BERLMAN high-back mesh office chair review and our Ergohuman high-back swivel chair review.

As a chair that’s made primarily out of wood and leather, we can argue that breathability may not be as good as it would be on a mesh chair. With that said, you still shouldn’t expect the chair to get heated up too much, even in the event that you tend to spend long hours getting work done. The leather is easy to clean and water-resistant, so you shouldn’t worry about spilling any water or coffee on it by mistake.

From the elegant mahogany wood finish to the hand-applied brass nails, everything about this Boss wingback traditional chair screams class and sophistication. The chair may not have the necessary ergonomics to be the perfect office chair, but like many Boss office products, it is of high quality and is easy to assemble. It’s available in either burgundy or black vinyl, and given the option, we would go for the Black Boss chair since it looks a lot more well put together, in our opinion.

Boss Office Products Wingback Traditional Chair Wrap Up

The hand-applied brass nail finishing on this chair goes to show just how much human attention goes into creating these Wingback chairs. If you’re the kind of person that appreciates this kind of attention and detail, then the chair might be for you. Our only major concern is that it doesn’t allow for any adjustability (there’s no gas lift, no seat height adjustability), but if you can look over that, then you shouldn’t have any problem with it.
