Top-tier testers felt quite confident about the FO48U’s120Hz refresh rate, even though it didn’t match the 144Hz offered by the Gigabyte Aorus Fi32U. The Gigabyte Aorus FO48U is a well-built 48-inch 4K monitor that product testers have praised as an ideal pick for gaming. Reviewers from Techspot were quite pleased with its butter-smooth screen transitions, and they credited this to its high 120Hz refresh rate.

During their tests, product specialists from Rtings also confirmed that the monitor had both wide viewing angles and excellent reflection handling and deemed it fit for use in a brightly lit room or office.

Also pleasing was the presence of dual HDMI 2.1 ports, as experts confirmed that this monitor would be ready for connections to modern gaming consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Unfortunately, critics weren’t happy with its low brightness levels, as this proved to be a problem, especially when viewing HDR content.
