The Gigabyte Aorus FO48U is a well-built 48-inch 4K monitor that product testers have praised as an ideal pick for gaming. Reviewers from Techspot were quite pleased with its butter-smooth screen transitions, and they credited this to its high 120Hz refresh rate. During their tests, product specialists from Rtings also confirmed that the monitor had both wide viewing angles and excellent reflection handling and deemed it fit for use in a brightly lit room or office. Also pleasing was the presence of dual HDMI 2.1 ports, as experts confirmed that this monitor would be ready for connections to modern gaming consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Unfortunately, critics weren’t happy with its low brightness levels, as this proved to be a problem, especially when viewing HDR content.

The Gigabyte Aorus FO48U is a mid-range display that was first available in June 2021, and is one of the best computer monitors with a 48-inch screen. It has a 4K screen resolution for pristine picture quality and impressive reflection handling, making content visible in a bright room. Similar to a lot of top-tier gaming monitors, it also features dual HDMI 2.1 ports for modern console gaming and wide viewing angles for shared usage. It boasts decent color accuracy after calibration and a rapid 1ms response time to keep motion blur at bay.
