Get ready to face your fears at Cedar Point in 2025. The park just announced Siren’s Curse, the tallest, fastest, and longest tilt coaster in North America. This heart-pounding ride will stand at a staggering 160 feet tall and reach speeds of up to 58 mph.
But that’s not all. Siren’s Curse features a signature move that will leave you breathless. At one point during the ride, the track appears to disconnect, and the train tilts a full 90 degrees. You’ll be forced to look straight down before the track locks back into place, and the ride continues.
This isn’t for the faint of heart. With 13 weightless airtime moments, two 360-degree barrel rolls, and a twisted “triple-down” element, Siren’s Curse promises an unforgettable experience, according to People. The coaster’s theme revolves around a haunting siren’s melody that grows more sinister as you ascend the 160-foot tower.
“Record-breaking thrills have always been at the heart of Cedar Point’s roller coaster lineup, and Siren’s Curse lives up to that standard,” Carrie Boldman, vice president and general manager of Cedar Point, said.
Tilt coasters are a rare breed, with only one other currently operating in the world as reported by Toledoblade. Siren’s Curse is set to be the first in the Western Hemisphere, cementing Cedar Point’s reputation as the “Roller Coaster Capital of the World.”
Are you brave enough to face the siren’s call? Siren’s Curse opens in early summer 2025 according to foxnews, and it’s sure to be a scream. Check out the terrifying video of the ride in action, and start planning your trip to Cedar Point now.
