Photos of a large black box branded “Vice City Leonida” circulated on Reddit and X around September 13, 2026, with users calling it a GTA 6 Collector’s Edition reveal. Rockstar Games has not confirmed any such product exists.
Here is what the official record shows: Rockstar lists only two editions in its support documentation. The Standard Edition costs $79.99, the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99, and pre-orders opened June 25, 2026. There is no Collector’s Edition, no Deluxe tier, and no Special packaging in any official Rockstar or Take-Two communication.
The images purportedly show the following items inside the box:
- A Rockstar Games welcome card
- A GTA VI metal keyring
- A sticker sheet, reportedly resembling one previously bundled with Dazed magazine
- A trucker cap with Vice City Leonida branding
- A T-shirt with Vice City Leonida print
According to autoevolution, that contents list reads less like a retail Collector’s Edition and more like a promotional press kit sent to journalists ahead of launch. The sticker sheet’s apparent resemblance to a prior Dazed magazine insert reinforces that interpretation.
Authenticity remains an open question. According to autoevolution, the images cannot be verified and may be AI-generated or altered. Multiple social accounts reposted the photos claiming exclusives without offering any supporting proof.
Six-central.com reports, citing people familiar with the matter, that Rockstar has at times planted false information within internal teams to trace the source of leaks. Rockstar has not confirmed that practice. That context is a reason to wait for an official Rockstar Newswire post before treating any pre-launch GTA 6 leak as credible.
The confirmed physical box ships with a download code, not a disc. Until Rockstar announces otherwise, Standard and Ultimate are your only two options, and anything beyond those editions remains speculation.
