The Best Charging Stand Under $100 I’ve Used This Year Is Now Half Price

Key Takeaways

The NOCO XGrid XDS3B normally runs $129.95 on NOCO’s site. Amazon has it for close to half that right now. More specifically $61.72, the lowest it’s ever been.

First impression

The unboxing sets the tone. One Amazon reviewer called it an “Apple-like unboxing and product experience,” and honestly, that tracks.

Pick up the stand and you feel the weight before you feel anything else. NOCO built this with a die-cast metal chassis, the kind of heft that says “I plan on staying exactly where you put me.”

Charging performance

MagSafe alignment on the iPhone pad is excellent. Your phone snaps into place every time, no hunting for the sweet spot. Most buyers report the same thing.

The Apple Watch puck is the one soft spot. Your Ultra spins a bit once it lands on the charger, more of a lazy Susan than a lock. Several reviewers with Ultra watches mention the same wobble. It still charges fine, just not the satisfying click the phone pad gives you.

The AirPods pad rounds out the base. Place your phone here too if you angle it right, and a small LED lights up to confirm you nailed the placement.

What to watch for

If you’re running the iPhone 17 Pro Max alongside an Apple Watch Ultra, rotate the phone to landscape and the two devices can bump into each other, especially with a case on. Keep the phone in portrait and the problem disappears.

The charging angle is fixed at 45 degrees. Great for a desk. Less great from bed, according to a handful of reviews. But still not something that bothered me in my “testing.”

Wireless charging generates heat, and this stand is no exception. More than one reviewer noted the phone gets warm during a full cycle. Normal for the category. Again, not something that concerned me and candidly, I charge at night so it’s not a big deal.

The numbers

The iPhone pad runs Qi2-certified at 15W. NOCO’s own testing shows an iPhone 16 hitting 0-80% in under 70 minutes.

The Apple Watch side is MFi-certified. NOCO claims 0-80% in 30 minutes on a Series 10.

The AirPods pad tops out at 5W, standard for a case.

In the box

You get the stand, a 45W USB-C wall charger, a 6.5-foot 60W braided cable, and swappable international plugs. NOCO backs it all with a 3-year limited warranty, longer than most chargers in this category bother to offer.

The braided cable is a nice touch and just adds extra polish to the entire setup. It wasn’t something I was expecting.

At full price, this is a premium buy that earns its price tag. At half price on Amazon, it’s close to a no-brainer.
