Product Snapshot

Overview

The Espresso Display is the brand’s high-end 15-Inch portable display released in 2021. Giving you the ease of using an extended monitor wherever you go, the Espresso Display is geared toward those who need a portable monitor for extra screen real estate in cafes or multiple workplaces. It also delivers a fantastic color gamut with its sRGB color coverage while also allowing you to control it through the touch screen without having to reach for your mouse every time you want to browse through a page. Although it doesn’t have a built-in battery like the Asus ZenScreen, it comes with USB-C ports that allow you to run it by drawing power from your laptop adding to its portability. Overall, it’s the perfect portable monitor for those who want a slim and lightweight display to carry with them for work. Consensus

our Verdict

The Espresso Display is a great FHD portable display with an impressive design and good performance. It has an IPS panel and a wide sRGB color gamut, plus a touch screen display to help you get more done at work and home. It’s slim and lightweight, so you can easily take it with you wherever you go. You may need to pay extra for the Mount Go and other stand accessories, but it’s still a great choice for those who need a portable monitor. Unfortunately, it’s not suitable for fast-paced games due to its limited refresh rate and lack of Freesync or G-Sync compatibility. Plus, you’ll need to pay extra for touch screen accessibility on Mac.

ReasonS to Buy

  • Extremely thin and lightweight
  • Excellent color gamut with sRGB coverage
  • Touch screen display
  • Mount Go stand compatible

Reason to Avoid

  • Mounting stand accessories need to be bought separately
  • Touchscreen accessibility for Mac needs extra payment.
  • Screen is reflective
