If budget is not an issue for you, the Epson SureColor P600 Wide Format Inkjet Printer is probably the best large format printer you can get right now. It does come at an exorbitant price, but the feature set might be worth it to some. So, why should you buy this top-grade printer?

The Epson SureColor P600 Wide Format Inkjet Printer has a lot of bells and whistles. Starting with disc printing to AirPrint and Google Cloud Print support, this printer doesn’t let go of any feature, be it useful or not. The print speed is pretty good compared to other photo printers. However, one photo printer comes in at a much lower price point and has higher PPM counts for both monochrome and color prints. And that is the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wireless printer.
Inkjet printers (AKA professional photo printers) are usually pretty good when it comes to print quality. And the Epson SureColor P600 Wide Format Inkjet Printer with support for up to 5760 x 1440 DPI resolution is no different. Epson advertises their “UltraChrome HD Ink” on this inkjet photo printer. This basically means it has eight different ink tanks (photo black, cyan, vivid magenta, yellow, light cyan, vivid light magenta, light black, matte black, and even lighter black.
This Epson inkjet printer is pretty efficient, so you’ll get a great ink cartridge lifespan out of this printer. But even the much cheaper Canon Pixma Pro-100 has a similar ink efficiency, so it’s nothing crazy good. You shouldn’t have to replace ink cartridges often, depending on how much you print.
The Epson SureColor P600 Wide Format Inkjet Printer has a USB, wired ethernet, and Wi-Fi. So it basically has all three connectivity methods you’ll ever need. And it has an easy-to-use color touchscreen interface to control settings right from the printer.
Wide format printers generally come with high price tags, but at above $2700, the Epson SureColor P600 Wide Format Inkjet Printer is just a bit too high priced to be considered as a “value for money printer.” Also, the customer service and after-sales support seem to be dodgy from Epson; you can see that by looking at a few customer reviews. If you value the extra features this printer comes with and have the money to afford it, you should go for this printer.
The Epson SureColor P600 Wide Format Inkjet Printer is packed to the brim with different features that separate it from others. But most won’t care about those functionalities. If you just want a simple wireless printer, the Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 should be more than enough to suffice your needs.
