While looking for the best office printer, you shouldn’t judge inkjet printers by their price. More often than not, you can find amazing inkjet printers at a lower price point. The Canon Pixma TS8320, at just $180, is probably one of the best printers for art prints (you can take a look at our list for more options at different price ranges), and the best printer for students you can purchase. Overall, it is the best printer out there at this price.

The Canon Pixma TS8320 wireless inkjet printer is amazing in terms of its value. It’s a modern photo printer that launched barely a year ago. So it’s not like Canon is trying to move out old stock by offering them at lower prices. It is that good of a value.

When it comes to print speed, photo printers are usually not that great. However, according to Canon’s marketing, the Canon Pixma TS8320 wireless inkjet printer can spit out up to 15 images per minute (monochrome) and up to 10 images per minute for color printing. If you use glossy photo paper, it can print out a 4″ x 6″ photo-quality print within 17 seconds. And that is perfectly fine for small-scale photo printing in a home office. That’s why the Canon Pixma TS8320 can also be considered the best photo printer and the best office printer below $200. But for a large volume of printout work, you can go for the Brother MFCL2750DW.
On paper, the print resolution seems pretty good. You can select up to 2400 x 4800 DPI, but the end result doesn’t seem very impressive. The details are outstanding, but the color representation is slightly inaccurate due to the dye-based color. Then again, it’s vastly better than any other printer, even above its price point. If you need better print quality, you’ll have to shell out more money for the Canon Pixma iP110.
The Canon Pixma TS8320 is one of the best printers in terms of both power and ink efficiency. Every color ink is separated into different ink tanks. So once something runs out (e.g., photo blue ink tank, black ink tank), you can easily replace that ink tank itself and save money.
Even though it is fairly cheap, it does have a lot of built-in features. You can easily print photos from mobile devices using AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and the Canon Print app, just like the Canon TS6120. And even if the printer is turned off, once you start printing remotely from your phone, the paper tray pops out automatically to catch your prints. The onboard touchscreen interface is also very intuitive. While it doesn’t have a touchscreen, you’ll find great value in another model, which you can read about in our Canon PIXMA TR4520 review.
For just $180, the Canon Pixma TS8320 wireless inkjet printer is basically a steal. And you get Amazon Dash Replenishment support, where you get 10% off on all ink cartridge reorders. It is compatible with a lot of different third-party cartridges as well. In terms of value proposition, you can’t beat this deal. But do note, the Amazon Dash Replenishment service is only available in the United States. Also, you need to buy a memory card to print content from.
Overall the Canon Pixma TS8320 is a fantastic package at an even better price point. But if you require something better, you can also get the Brother MFC-L3770CDW Laser printer instead.
