The Acer XB273K is the perfect monitor for players wanting the best possible gaming experience. It has all the features demanded by gamers like large screen size, quick response time, wide color gamut, and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility. The IPS panel ensures a wide range of viewing angles. Its high refresh rate beats many of the monitors on our best 4K gaming monitor list. Speaking of the best gaming monitors, take a look at our best computer monitors list.

Why We Like It – Acer Predator XB273K

The Predator XB273K is a gaming monitor that delivers excellent performance and fantastic image quality. It has a large screen size, 4K resolution, and a high refresh rate to ensure maximum viewing pleasure for long gaming sessions. If you want a computer monitor that will be easier on the eyes during long gaming sessions, you should also read our LG W53 SMART series LCD monitor that uses a light sensor and more to reduce eye strain.

  • Nvidia G-Sync compatibility
  • 144Hz refresh rate
  • Large 3840 x 2160 resolution
  • A bit expensive
  • The speakers are very weak.
  • Average HDR specs

This screen has excellent performance and sits below the top-of-the-range Predator x27 in the Acer lineup. It has a UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution, and the IPS panel type ensures fantastic color accuracy. The quick response time of just 4 m/s reduces input lag, and the fast refresh rate of 144Hz ensures smooth images. The SDR contrast ratio is 1,000:1 and the HDR is 4,000:1, which is expected of a monitor like this. The peak brightness of 400 nits is less than the high-end Acer Predator XB271HK but still good overall. But, the nits are higher than the Dell 27 Ultrathin monitor S2719DM.

Unlike the finest ViewSonic monitors, the design of the Acer Predator isn’t as flashy as some other top-end gaming monitors. It comes in a minimalist black design with subtle badging. That said, removable hoods surrounding the top and sides of the screen still betray its premium pedigree. The Predator comes with one HDMI port and five USB ports. It also has two weak 4-watt speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The 27-inch screen is enough to provide a spectacular gaming experience for most players. Those wanting something bigger should check out the Asus MG28UQ 4K.

The Acer Predator is quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. It’s designed to provide excellent gaming performance and play HDR content effortlessly. This monitor easily displays vivid pictures thanks to the SRGB color gamut and type IPS panel screen. The 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 4m/s response time put it up there with the Acer Predator x27, but at a far lower price. This monitor represents good value if you want high performance and speed. For something more affordable, the LG 27MP59G-P is a great alternative.

Acer Predator XB273K Wrap Up

This monitor review has covered most aspects of the XB273K and found it to be one of the best gaming monitors on the market. The small speakers will hardly be used and the high price is justified when considering all the features. It’s an amazing all-around performer with great visuals and speed. The Acer Predator is definitely a worthy companion to an Acer Nitro gaming laptop.
