Three-plus years into an 11.25-year federal fraud sentence, Elizabeth Holmes‘ X account posted a glamour selfie alongside the caption, “The answer to every challenge lies in your heart,” according to UniLAD Tech. The post arrived days after A24 released the trailer for You Can See Everything, a Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim documentary built around Holmes’ final weeks before prison.
The photo was taken in 2019, after her indictment but before she reported to custody. Holmes is also visibly wearing a black snake ring confirmed as Taylor Swift Reputation tour merchandise.
Federal rules bar inmates from direct internet access, so her husband Billy Evans manages the account and publishes on her behalf, according to AOL reporting. The account bio states plainly: “Mostly my words, posted by others.”
Since reactivating in August 2025, the account has been anything but quiet. Posts have reached 10–20 per day, including retweets and tagged content. A follower who asked her location received the reply “Bryan Federal Prison Camp.” Pro-Trump and “Make America Healthy Again” content has appeared alongside criticism of his opponents. Multiple posts challenge specific evidence from her 2022 fraud conviction, and the account has also engaged with AI data center policy and broader political topics.
The documentary fueling the current attention premiered secretly at the Telluride Film Festival. You Can See Everything runs approximately 174 minutes. It covers 34 days in 2023, during which Fielder and a crew lived with Holmes, Evans, and their two young children at a San Diego rental home before she reported to prison, according to Variety.
The trailer centers on whether Holmes is “being real.” Her answer, per the trailer: “I’m always being real. Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that.”
Forbes reporter Alison Durkee characterized the selfie’s timing as part of a parallel campaign: Holmes’ X account has been actively posting pro-Trump content and clemency appeals while a prestige documentary is widening public interest in her case. Evans also appears in the film discussing future business plans, including a possible Theranos successor, according to Newser.
A24 has set a theatrical release for You Can See Everything on October 16, 2026. The clemency campaign has not drawn a public response from the White House.
