GTA’s radio has traditionally been tied to vehicles. Step outside, and the music stopped. Rockstar is changing that with GTA VI: players will now carry Leonida’s audio world on foot, through headphones and earbuds connected to protagonists Jason and Lucia’s in-game smartphones. On October 8, 2026, Rockstar confirmed six radio stations and introduced on-demand fictional podcasts, a first for the franchise. The company describes it as the series’ “biggest and widest-ranging selection of video games radio yet.”
The Six Stations
Six stations spanning Latin, country, African, metal, pop, and Southern rap are currently confirmed, according to previews published on the official GTA VI website and reported by Complex and Game Informer.
The genre spread is deliberately wide. Cocoteo FM handles modern Latin music, including bachata, merengue, dembow, and reggaeton, hosted by El Martillo and La Gata.
Back Country Radio covers country with hosts MW and Delta Dawne, alongside fictional recurring personality Mud Dog Mike. AfroBank FM spans African music from 20th-century classics through contemporary styles such as amapiano and 3-step, with Burna and Palmsy hosting.
The Chamber 106.6 focuses on classic metal from the 1980s and beyond, with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom running the station. Flash FM returns from Vice City as a pop station hosted by Robyn and Alex.
Dirty South Classics rounds out the confirmed lineup with Southern rap and hip-hop, hosted by Trick and Trina. Rockstar has not confirmed this is the complete station roster.

Podcasts and the Soundtrack Album
On-demand podcasts arrive in the franchise for the first time, while a separately announced 34-track original album features a wide range of major contributors.
The podcast feature is new territory for GTA. Fictional hosts will discuss fictional Leonida events on demand, and you can listen while continuing to explore rather than returning to a vehicle. Rockstar has not yet disclosed podcast titles, host names, or episode structure.
Separate from the in-game radio system is Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track collection of original songs produced in partnership with Atlantic Records, as reported by Billboard Philippines and Complex. The album consists of original commissioned music; the radio stations are curated fictional broadcasts that may include additional licensed music beyond those songs.
Confirmed contributors include Yung Lean featuring Future and Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott with production from Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk. Additional contributors include PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, Keith Richards, CA7RIEL, Paco Amoroso, and Étienne de Crécy.
GTA VI launches November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar may reveal additional stations, podcast details, and soundtrack tracks before that date. For players, the shift is meaningful: Leonida’s audio world now travels with you, not just with the car.
