Product Snapshot

Overview

The Dell U4919DW is the brand’s high-end 49-Inch ultrawide Dual QHD monitor released in 2018. Its wide display, along with a 5120 x 1440 pixels resolution, allows you to multitask seamlessly and play games more enjoyably on a monitor the size of two monitors with accurate colors and no bezels in between your view. It could be considered better than the leading 38-inch monitor. And with decent viewing angles, sturdy build quality, an adjustable stand, and above all a 32:9 aspect ratio, it makes for a great ultrawide QHD monitor for next-level efficiency. However, its competitor, the Samsung C49RG90, comes with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz instead of Dell’s 60Hz at a similar price point. Keep reading the rest of this Dell U4919DW review to learn more about what top critics and experts had to say about it. Consensus

our Verdict

The Dell U4919DW is a great ultrawide monitor for office users who want to multitask and casual gamers who want a riveting gaming experience. It has a 49 Inch display with good viewing angles and an adjustable stand for added adaptability. The 5120 x 1440 resolution and good color accuracy make working on it enjoyable. Unfortunately, it lacks HDR and G-Sync/Free Sync features. Despite this, the vast display, KVM compatibility, fast-response time, and sound color reproduction make it a great choice for multitasking, but not so much for gamers due to its mediocre gaming performance at its price point.

Reason to Buy

  • Exceptional 5120 x 1440 resolution
  • Good viewing angles
  • Picture-by-Picture KVM switching compatibility.
  • Large screen real-estate
  • Premium build quality

Reason to Avoid

  • It does not support HDR or DCI color
  • No available inputs or output for audio
  • Non-native input lag is very high
