Overview

The Dell S3222DGM is a 32-inch display that was released in 2020 as a mid-tier computer monitor. It has a 165Hz refresh rate that is quite common with some of the best gaming monitors, and high contrast levels that make it easier to view deep blacks in a dark room. Its 1440p resolution may not be as sharp as some of the best computer monitors on the market (e.g the Dell S2722QC’s 4K display), but it does have impressive motion handling courtesy of its 10.2ms response time. The monitor is relatively easy to adjust, and its color accuracy is pretty good after calibration – attributes it has in common with the Corsair Xeneon 32QHD165.

Certified testers praised the Dell S3222DGM as a fantastic gaming monitor courtesy of its fast 165Hz refresh rate and impressively low input lag. Product reviewers from Rtings were delighted that they did not encounter any screen tearing during their experiments, and they also commended the display for its improved color accuracy after calibration. Even though it does not support HDR content like the Dell S3422DWG, critics from Tom’s Hardware were pretty happy with its high contrast levels and rendered it fit for viewing in a dark room. Also, its 1800R curvature may not be as deep as the Dell S2722DGM, but its brightness levels satisfied testers when they ran their experiments with standard SDR content.
