Combining the most primitive elements discovered at the dawn of mankind, this rolling fireplace from Conmoto wants to go off-roading down your stairs with a passion. From the look of the picture it seems pretty fake but it actually runs off of ethanol and is a real heat source believe it or not.
Imagining some awesome YouTube videos involving bowling and day care centers this fireplace isn’t designed to roll at all. What are we supposed think? Anyway, cool concept and I’d love to mess with one.

There are two things I don’t do in the shower: listen to music and shave. But if you’re totally unlike me, then you’ll surely love Sharper Image’s MP3 Wireless Speaker Fog Free Shower Mirror.
For $70 you not only get a fog free mirror but an AM/FM radio and an MP3 player docking system that wirelessly transmits your tunes up to 100 feet to the mirror’s built-in 1.25-inch speakers. Embedded in the reflective surface is a blue LED clock to insure you’ll never be late again and although you can’t change your MP3 player’s track, you can adjust the system’s volume and radio station from a set of on board controls. The dock connects to any player by using a 3.5mm headphone jack, so whether it be an iPod or a no named brand portable player you’ll be good to scrub.

All right, road warriors, pay attention–because this is some really awesome news, especially if you have to do a lot of time-zone hopping in the course of your travels. This is also awesome for anyone with a hugely variable schedule that requires you to work, and sleep, at different times every day.
We’re talking about Daylight Savers from Flinders Tech, glasses with a pair of bright blue LED lights that shine directly into your eyes, causing a delay in your circadian rhythm. Now, circadian rhythms are those things that generally cause you to get tired at the same time every day, or wake up at about the same time every day, or even get hungry at certain times.
There are literally dozens of different uses for this product, though I have to wonder about the long term effects of artificially altering your circadian rhythms. However, for people whose time clocks are already out of whack, this could be the answer to your prayers.
They’re not yet ready for market, so there’s no pricing or release data, but they hope to have them available within the next year.

In a day and age where more and more people have more and more gadgets that need constant power, there needs to be more ways to offset all of this energy use. A new concept has made its way to the blogs in the form of Power Saving Outlets.
Simple enough, this design only requires you to rotate the outlet using the plug as you would turn a key in order to turn on the power. While the idea is good enough, I can’t see this being all that safe for children, and most of the time your powerstrip is plugged into an outlet that isn’t all that easy to get to, making using this concept not so convenient.
What do you think?

What would probably look cooler in an actual booth at a Hard Rock Cafe than at your place, this cheapo “Limited Edition” iPod dock could make a decent gift idea for that certain nostalgia freak in your family.
At only $15, I can’t imagine the sound quality to be anything of value, but it is cheap enough to buy for your bathroom or walk-in closet. Especially if you like the included digital FM tuner. Also featuring a line-in for CD and MP3 players, it will also run off of 4 AA batteries or a wall plug.
Limited Edition always denotes a “Buy Now” type of attitude so don’t hesitate!

Now this is actually a really fun idea–you know how, when you were a kid, you probably used to imagine various household objects as race cars? Well, now you can do it for real with the RC Driver Tissue Box.
This isn’t just a fun idea, either. It’s also highly useful. I remember when I had the flu…I was on my back, barely able to move, and even something like getting up to go get a tissue to try and clear my nose sufficiently to breathe was like the labors of Sisyphus. But the thought of being able to snag a remote and DRIVE my tissues to my sick bed makes me feel almost…happy, somehow.
But still, the idea of driving your tissues around the house is probably at least a minor freakout, so be careful. It’d be terrible trying to, say, explain to the vet that you ran over your cat’s foot with a box of tissues. They’re taking pre-orders on them now for $44, so get them before someone else does!

Coming to you today from the folks at fu-bi is the Retro Cube Mini Speaker With MP3 Player.
Basically, it’s pretty much what it says on the box. It’s a speaker that hooks to your iPod or your PC, with either a headphone jack or a USB cable, and will give you about three hours of music for roughly every hour spent charging the battery. You can also fill up a USB stick, MMC card or SD / SDHC card with music and play them directly from the speaker itself.
It looks like nothing so much as a old fashioned guitar amp, and this is probably where the “Retro” part comes into play. They sell for about fifty bucks each, but only can be had in Japan for right now. It’s kind of a nifty idea, but it’s a little bit short on execution. I mean, great, congratulations. It’s a speaker. I’ve got several. But I like that it can be taken anywhere and will play music from outside media, turning it into a pocket stereo. It’s the kind of thing I could’ve used back when I was in high school.

Halloween might be over, but there is always a little room for a trick. The ‘Ghost Mirror’ shows any onlooker’s image from afar, but as they draw closer to the mirror their appearance begins to fade into obscurity. The mirror is probably a one of a kind from the mind of Oliver Sidet and uses a combination of physics and lighting to achieve this odd feat. While I have no way of confirming if it actually works, I’d gladly purchase one for my home since it could double as both a piece of art and a way of creating the perception of more space in my shoe box of an apartment.

As we are beginning into the later half of the fall and towards the almighty Black Friday, crazy gift ideas are beginning to snowball. The Wine Wisk and Bottle Stopper is just that.
Whipping this thing out at a holiday party is surely going to have people talking after the fact behind your back. Especially if your not hosting the party. However, anybody who is serious about drinking red wine knows that “letting it breath” is an important part of opening a bottle.
When your down whipping your red wine into an erotic frenzy, you can use the handle to act as a bottle stopper. Someone will buy this. Will it be you? On sale now for $25!

Having a globe around always makes you seem more worldly and distinguished. But how about a floating globe?
Somehow not endorsed by David Blaine, is this cool looking levitating globe from Yanko Design. Using an electronically controlled magnetic field, the 8-inch globe is suspended in mid-air for as long as you have the 120v power supply plugged in.
Is this something you’d really have running 24-7? Definitely cool for parties and one night stands, this unique globe can be yours for only $75.
