The first MW2 Xbox 360 I got came with a broken face plate so it took me a couple days to get a replacement. If you haven’t heard of this version before it’s actually a really great deal if your are in the market for a new Xbox 360. …Continue reading: Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Xbox 360 Exposed

I can say right now that I have never really needed to use the web browser on my PS3. Maybe because I have other ways to access the net. For those of you who rely on your PS3 web browser will find it interesting that reports are coming in about Sony potentially bringing FireFox to the PS3.
While no deal has been struck at this juncture, it is a nice nugget of hype for PS3 owners to mull over. The forever question still exists: Why is there no browser on the Xbox 360?

Okay, PS3 gamers, pay attention, because you’ve FINALLY got a response to all those Xbox 360 gamers who keep laughing at you because your system has no games and is deeply inferior to theirs.
See, the PS3 is getting some interesting augments that will boost its credibility by plenty. I’ve been a 360 gamer myself for the last four years now, and I’ll tell you this much, even I’m tempted to get a PS3. Especially with the recent price breaks.
But now, they’re adding some serious firepower to the Sony Online Service, offering music, books and videos in the same way that iTunes does. Yes, you’ll be able to drop vast amounts of cash with Sony to get your media fix in pretty much every way. Between that and the new rumors of Firefox capability, well, now there’s some serious force in that box. And that may get some developers interested in swinging back to Sony.

Remember that supposed Splinter Cell Conviction promo code that was to be included inside the box of Assassin’s Creed 2? According to game site CVG, and an Ubisoft spokesperson “The leaflet included in the Assassin’s Creed 2 boxes in the US does not relate to a Splinter Cell Conviction demo download. The leaflet is a US initiative and will not be available in other territories.” In other words, it’s a promo to get fans of the Splinter Cell series like you and me to download wallpapers to our computer’s desktop and what Ubisoft probably hopes is a conversation going with our best buds to help promote the game.

RIDE, for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PS3 launched today. I have yet to get a full hands with the game but I did give it a whirl at this year’s X games – in other words my opinion of the game and whether or not it will be successful is still pending. Nonetheless, you can grab it from Amazon for $120 or head to Walmart and get a special edition board.

Retro yourself this holiday season…or your kid with the Sega Dreamcast Console. Amazon has it for $88.99 – $9.50 instant savings + free shipping = $79.49 shipped! I’m not sure if it includes a controller or not, but who cares, this thing is late 90s (1999) retro and had those killer memory cards with an LCD screen.

The last Razer mouse we saw packed in some odd 17 buttons. Taking the completely opposite design approach is the Abyssus, an ambidextrous three-button mouse with Razor’s gaming grade 3500dpi Razer Precision 3.5G infrared sensor tacted on. And because Razer knows times are tough and they wanna bring gaming grade peripherals to the masses, so they’re only charging $50. The Abyssus is currently available on Razor’s site or you can hold out until December when it will available nationwide.

My buddy can really get engorged in gaming hype. Especially when it comes to Sam Fisher related news. Hopefully this nugget of hype will do something for him.
What we are hearing today is that when Assassin’s Creed 2 arrives tomorrow, there will be an exclusive demo voucher packed inside for Splinter Cell Conviction.
Splinter Cell Conviction has been a long time coming and this demo voucher is a smart way to get people reinvested in a franchise that’s trying to reinvent itself. Hit us up tomorrow if you get this voucher and play the demo.

When ‘COD: World At War‘ hit the scene last year everyone and their little brother was ultra psyched for the Zombie board. After all, who doesn’t like slaying zombies, let alone Nazi Zombies. Now their first board, ‘Nacht der Untoten’ (German for ‘night of the dead’) has been transposed to the iPhone where you can engage in up to 4 player coop game play over WiFi (2 if Bluetooth).
At $9.99 it’s a bit steep, especially when you consider it’s just one board and the same board found on the console version. They’ve also got plans to roll out additional Nazi levels which will no doubt cost you.
