It’s almost scary how much data Google has. And nothing makes a more compelling case than “Liquid Galaxy”. It combines Google Earth and 8 LCD screens arranged in a spherical manner to create a virtual reality Google Earth experience. The project was spearheaded by Jason Holt, who used his Google allotted 20% project time to build the setup. Video below.
