Measuring in at a tiny .98 inches thick, this cool laptop speaker from AQ Amigo is powered through USB and slips to the top of your laptop screen for maximum effectiveness.  The main force behind this speaker is the fact that it uses two 1.2-watt 19 mm “Exciter” drivers that turns the electrical audio signal into vibrations through the use of magnetism.  What that means is that while a conventional speaker uses a cone for its main source of vibration, this speaker makes whatever it’s attached to vibrate to move the sound.  Make sense?

With that said, I don’t think I want my laptop screen vibrating all that much because it will probably loosen the hinge?  Paranoid?  For $32, it could be worth looking into given its size and application scenario.
