The HP E27d G4 advanced docking monitor is great for business use over creative work, but there are no internal speakers, and the build quality isn’t the best. The color gamut isn’t excellent either. But it has a good port selection and a built-in webcam.
Product Snapshot
Overview
The HP E27d G4 is the brand’s mid-level model released in 2020. It promises to deliver better SDR performance than other mid-level models thanks to its excellent peak brightness and coverage of the sRGB color space. It also promises a bigger and more vibrant screen than its competitor, the Samsung LS22R350FHNXZA. It’s an excellent monitor for those working on various office projects in the Microsoft Office Suite. In addition, the HP E27d G4 has a superb resolution, a fantastic ergonomic stand, and a good selection of ports. Consensus
our Verdict
The HP E27d G4 has a lot going for it – a webcam and microphone, a great stand, plenty of ports, and a fantastic matte screen. But it’s not perfect – no internal speakers, not the best build quality, and the color gamut isn’t great either. All in all, it’s great for business use, but not so much for creative work.
