Not everyone needs a big bulky printer that can print for an entire office. If you need a very small printer that can scan, copy, and fax, the HP DeskJet 2622 is one of the best printers for the job. This is the kind of printer you’d want sitting on your desk at home.
For larger print jobs, then you’ll want to check out the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479FDW.

The HP DeskJet 2622 performs all the tricks—print, copy, fax, and scan—in a compact shell with an easy-to-use interface, making it perfect for personal use.

The best part about the HP DeskJet 2622 is its compatibility: Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP SP3 or higher (32-bit only), Win Server 2008 R2 and higher, Mac OS X v10.12 (Sierra), v10.11 (El Capitan), v10.10 (Yosemite). That means those listed devices will have access to its 4800 x 1200 print resolution.
That alone makes it a great choice for someone who needs a quick printing job, not necessarily a workhorse. For example, occasionally downloading and printing a photo from social media. And its wireless printing is also a nice touch. However, it does not support automatic double-sided printing.
The HP DeskJet 2622 All-in-one Printer brings out all the stops you would want in a compact printer. For starters, it’s really easy to move, weighing only 7.55 pounds. Next, its dimensions are small, only coming in at 16.74 x 11.97 x 5.87 inches. What’s great is the input and output trays can be folded away when you aren’t using it, adding to its compact nature. Because of how small it is, you won’t have a hard time finding a space for it. It isn’t as bulky as a Brother HL-L2300D.
Like the HP Tango X, the HP DeskJet 2622 is cheap and can print, scan, copy, and fax—you are getting a killer deal here. All that for $50? That is the mark of excellent value. Since this printer works well as a personal printer, you won’t have to spend a lot of money on HP 65 ink cartridges (about $15 a pop). And it’s Instant Ink eligible! Not even the HP OfficeJet 3830 comes with Instant Ink without paying extra. To paint a better picture, the HP OfficeJet 5255 is also an all-in-one, but costs seven times as much.
Alternatively, you’ll want to shell out the cash for a high-end printer, especially if you’re using it for sublimation, as you’ll find with the Canon Selphy CP1300.
The HP DeskJet 2622 cements itself as a fantastic all-in-one printer, thanks to its solid performance, and ability to scan, copy, and fax aside from printing. It doesn’t have automatic double-sided printing, but its pricing is so cheap that it can be overlooked. It also doesn’t hurt that a large number of devices accepts it.
