StickNFind Stickers Help You Locate Everything with Your iPhone, No Bigger Than a US Quarter

We’ve all done. I’ve done it. You walk to the kitchen with your TV’s remote control in hand, get something to drink and return to your couch. Upon trying to change the channel you can’t locate your remote. Odds are the last place you’ll look is your fridge, but chances are it’s sitting next to a head of lettuce. So you know its time to read 5 of the best personal GPS tracking devices.

The actual StickNFind stickers use low-energy Bluetooth to connect with your iOS or Android device and have a range of up to 100-feet.  Once they’re paired with your the StickNFind app they can located by activating a light, sound or both at the same time – you can program each Sticker with different tones.  Lending a further assist is an on-screen radar that can show the distance to the StickNFind sticker within what appears to be a 50-foot increments, though directional info is non-existent.  If the StickNFind Sticker you seek can’t be located or connected to, you can set the app to notify you when that particular StickNFind comes in range, ideal for collecting luggage at a busy airport.  The StickNFind stickers can also be used much like a virtual leash or proximity fence, telling you when the object, pet, or even perhaps a child leaves the preset area.

Enter the StickNFind.   Now, to be candid I’ve seen a myriad of device that help you locate (like a GPS Locator) lost keys, or really any lost item. However, none have been so conveniently small (about the size of a US Quarter), or for that matter worked directly with a smartphone with this much versatility.

According to StickNFind’s creators, each StickNFind’s battery will last for up to 1-year with an average of 30-minutes of use per day.  It’s not clear how they’ve define “use”, but since it uses a simple watch battery, and is very easy to replace (just unscrew the top) it’s hopefully a moot concern.

A pack of 2 StickNFind Stickers start at $35.  However, keep in mind that’s the IndieGoGo price – shipping is expected to commence in March – so in all likelihood pricing with see a slight increase.  That being said, StickNFind has already far exceeded their funding goal by $216,000.
