It also has an auto docking station that can hold up to 2.25 liters of debris. The S8+ also has a 6000 Pa suction and clears 99% of debris and 100% of pet hair on hard floors.
Build quality is good, with a durable high-grade plastic shell and flexible rollers. Noise is a subdued 64 dB, and battery life is excellent, at 230 minutes on its “quiet” setting. The well-designed Roborock app and smart features enhance usability, although the cost of replacement parts adds up. The S8+ also lacks a HEPA filter and does a poor job of filtering out allergens.
