our Verdict

Professional reviewers were impressed by the iRobot Roomba i7+, recommending it for bare floors and carpets based on their experiments. Critics from New York Times were pleased with its self-emptying system.

It has a HEPA filter that proved effective in sealing allergens during testing. This robot has a 2.65L dirt bag that pleased reviewers, and tests revealed a good battery life of about 74 minutes. However, it removed just 57% of the large particles on bare floors and 80% on low pile carpets.

Its pet hair removal rate of 88% on bare floors and 99% impressed researchers, and they recommende it for pet owners. Analysts at Tech Radar observed that the iAdapt 3.0 visual navigation system provides systemic navigation.

Consider the iRobot Roomba i4 review if you prefer a physical dual-mode virtual barrier device. Testing revealed a good 65.1 dBA noise rating and it iRobot says it produces up to up to 1.7kPa of suction. However the dirt bag collection system requires regular expensive bag replacement.
