Two built-in fans inside a phone that also carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings is an unusual combination. Honor launched the Win2 smartphone and its first Win-branded gaming tablet in China on October 21, expanding a lineup that also includes the Win RT2 and Win Turbo2. No international availability has been announced in Honor’s cited launch materials.
Win2: Dual Fans, Massive Battery, Flagship Chip
The Win2 pairs an aggressive dual-fan cooling system with a 10,100mAh battery and triple water-resistance ratings in a single phone body.
The 6.89-inch OLED display runs at up to 185Hz with 1440 x 3104 resolution. Honor claims a peak brightness of 10,000 nits, a manufacturer figure that has not been independently verified.
A Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset powers the phone, with configurations reaching 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Gaming phones from brands such as ASUS ROG and RedMagic have used active cooling before, but pairing dual fans with IP-rated water resistance remains a less common choice.

Cooling is where the Win2 makes its most pointed argument. An upright cross-flow fan spins at up to 20,000 rpm, while a side fan reaches 31,000 rpm. Honor claims the dual system delivers 284% more airflow than the original Win, though that figure comes from the manufacturer and has not been confirmed by independent testing.
The 10,100mAh battery supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. At approximately 8.5mm thick and 237g, the phone carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection ratings. For tips on managing a large-capacity cell, see our guide on battery life.
Chinese pricing starts at CNY 5,499 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, reaching CNY 7,999 for the 16GB/1TB configuration.
Win2 Key Specs (Honor-stated figures):
- Display: 6.89-inch OLED, 1440 x 3104, up to 185Hz, 10,000-nit peak brightness claim
- Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage
- Battery and charging: 10,100mAh, 100W wired, 80W wireless
- Cooling: Dual integrated fans at 20,000 rpm and 31,000 rpm; Honor claims 284% more airflow versus the original Win
- Protection: IP68, IP69, and IP69K rated

Win Tablet: Active Cooling in a Compact Form Factor
Honor’s first Win-branded tablet carries a built-in fan in a body thinner than most flagship phones, making it the more unusual product in the lineup.
The 8.4-inch OLED panel runs at 240Hz with 1440 x 2304 resolution and a claimed peak brightness of 6,000 nits. Honor says this is the first tablet with a built-in fan; the fan spins at up to 15,000 rpm. At 6.1mm thick and 315g, the dimensions are compact for a device with active thermal management.
A Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset handles processing, with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The 10,000mAh battery charges at 66W.
Pricing runs from CNY 4,199 for the 12GB/256GB model to CNY 5,199 for the 16GB/512GB version. Both the Win2 and the tablet run MagicOS 11, based on Android 17. Honor frames both as components of a broader WIN gaming ecosystem, alongside accessories and other devices.
Independent benchmarks covering sustained frame rates, fan noise levels, thermal performance, and long-term fan reliability were not identified in the sources reviewed for this article.
If you are outside China, no purchase plans are warranted yet. Honor’s cited launch materials do not announce global availability for either device. The real measure arrives when independent testing matches gaming session endurance against Honor’s airflow and performance claims.
