If you want to take one of the best segways and turn it into a go kart, believe it or not, you can do that with the Segway Ninebot Electric GoKart Drift Kit. It introduces several neat features, including additional driving modes that’s fun for both kids and adults alike.
The Segway Ninebot Electric GoKart Drift Kit offers the perfect opportunity to turn your Segway transporter into a four-wheel go kart that’s ready for speed.
The Segway Ninebot Electric GoKart Drift Kit can turn your Ninebot S or MiniPro into a fully-functioning go kart, rather than an extension like the AUBESTKER Handlebar Kickstand Kit. It even handles like a dream. You can reach driving speeds up to 15mph or 24km h.
If you have kids driving it, you can actually lower their top speed with one of three driving modes: Novice mode, Standard mode, or Sports mode. Novice tops the speed at 5mph; standard mode at 11mph; sports mode at 15 mph. Its battery life will get you a solid 14 miles out of the go kart before it needs charged again.
Putting features aside for a moment, the Segway Ninebot Electric GoKart Drift Kit has a really sleek design. Instead of using the handle of your transporter, it comes with a steering wheel that has a steering ratio of 2:1. Additionally, there’s a seatbelt for added safety.
The go kart kit comes with an adjustable frame length, which accommodates individuals as tall as 6’5” and as short as 4’3”, with a max load of 220 pounds. That compact design also helps when storing and transporting, easily fitting inside a regular sized trunk.
There’s a lot of value here that comes combined with the Segway Ninebot GoKart Kit and the Ninebot S (or miniPro). For starters, you’re already enjoying the additional features of the Ninebot S and or miniPro thanks to its application. It then adds extra help with new rider tutorials, how to put it together, and fault reminder speed—just to name a few.
With that said, it’s an expensive kit that only supports two Segway models—again, Ninebot S and miniPro, not the Segway miniLITE. To be fair, if you own either one, you already know how expensive the transporters are, and it’s likely not an issue.
It’s pretty sweet turning your Segway transporter into a go kart, and so easily, too! So long as you have a Segway miniPro or Ninebot S, you’ve got everything you need. With its adjustable frame, it can work for adults and kits alike, and even has multiple driving modes if you want to lower the speed limit, which is perfect for kids. Sure, it’s expensive, but so are both models of transporteres. You’re going to have so much fun!
