Through the AirClean HEPA filter, the Miele Dynamic U1 isn’t just cleaning your carpets and hard flooring, but actively removing lung-damaging particles and neutralizing pet odor from your home.
Starting with the TurboBrush, it’s a safe yet powerful upholstery tool that tackles pet hair and debris, whether it’s on delicate furniture or stairs. You can finish off furniture via the crevice nozzle. The most important feature Miele U1 Bagless Canister Vacuums have is the Type U Air Clean filter; it’s what makes it a shoo-in as the best canister vacuum. Together with its 1200W of suction power (controlled via rotary dial), 99.9% of lung-damaging particles are sucked in and sealed inside the vacuum bag, 0.2% more than the Kenmore Elite Vacuum. That power and efficiency travel across hard flooring and carpets, due to its automatic height adjustment, a feature it shares with the Miele Complete C3 Marin.

The Miele Vacuum has 6 liters to fill with debris. Unfortunately, it’s vacuum bags you’ll be filling. On the bright side, dirt and allergens are trapped inside, so you don’t have to worry about breathing said debris into your lungs, a must-have for HEPA vacuums. It’s still an efficient way of removing particles from your house.
Along with the Miele Complete C3 Marin, the Miele Dynamic U1 might just be the best vacuum Miele has released. Its ability to capture and seal in allergens and particles is tough to match. But one fact that holds it back is too few attachments. Aside from the crevice tool and TurboBrush, you get a dusting brush and wand extension. If you could do without the work, perhaps it’s time to move to a smart home device, such as the iRobot Roomba 960 Robot Vacuum.

To really cement the Miele Dynamic U1, it needs at least one or two more attachments, but otherwise comes with the bare essentials. And despite using vacuum bags, it’s an integral necessity for capturing 99.9% of particles. There’s nothing worse than sucking up dirt, dust, and pet hair, only to release it into the air again when you go to release it into the garbage.
