The iRobot Braava 380t Robotic Mop With Sweeper is made specifically for hardwood floors and has two pads. One is to pick up dust and the other is to mop with. Interestingly, it has a swerve motion while mopping, which works well for scrubbing out stains and this also lets it cover more space I really liked that feature.

The square shape helps it get into corners easier, which is always good and the construction seems durable enough to survive a house with kids and even pets. It has a cool modern streamlined look and is designed to be easy to use, which it is.

Cleaning Power

As for battery life, this powerful vacuum and mop combo cleaned over 1500 sq ft for me and could have kept going, so it can go the distance. That swerve scrubbing motion I mentioned earlier in mop mode works very well and really gets stains out of hardwood, tile and even stone. It’s vacuuming credentials are pretty decent too as a carpet cleaner in sweep mode.

You can choose from several different pads. The multipurpose cleaning pad idea works great. Just choose the cleaning pad you like best.

For hardwood floors, tile or stone, this is a powerful vacuum and mop. It gets the job done and my floors were looking mighty shiny after a Braava 380t mopping. The battery lasts for a long time. I cleaned over 1500 sq ft and it still had some power left. So it has a very good run time. One thing I didn’t like was the navigation cube that comes with it.

The idea is that you can set up on a table for digital mapping, but it works better when there’s a clear border between a carpet and hardwood floors. The cleaning performance is really excellent from this robotic floor mop. I have clean floors that tend to stay cleaner. The dirt and grime have a hard time building up now. It excels at hard flooring. In fact, this is one of the best appliance reviews I have enjoyed in quite a while.

Those pads wrangle pet hair pretty good.
