Performance/display/resolution/refresh

If you’re looking for an LED TV with high dynamic range and peak brightness, then look no further: the Sony X900E Series has full-array local dimming and boosting technology that has a wide color gamut and gorgeous black levels. The TRILUMINOS display makes the color space gorgeous, for a lifelike picture. It has a high 120hz refresh rate that makes for smooth sports games with little motion blur, and makes video games look awesome with little input lag. It’s compatible with HDR content, but unfortunately doesn’t come with Dolby Vision, which is a downside. It also has a narrow viewing angle, which can make watching in the corners of your living room a challenge. But overall, the Sony X900E has incredible picture quality that’s hard to beat with other LED TVs. Compare its picture quality to the LG 22LJ4540 TV.

The Sony XBR X900E has built-in speakers that support Dolby Digital Audio. Amazon users review Sony as having okay sound quality, so you might opt for an external stereo system or sound bar to give you more bass and audio levels.

Ports/Expandability

This Sony TV has 4 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports for maximum connectivity. Hook up your DVD and Blu Ray player, gaming consoles, cable box, flash drives, and more all at the same time.

Value

The Sony X900E is a fair bit more expensive than other LED TVs like the Samsung Electronics UN32N5300AFXZA 32″ 1080p Smart LED TV. But you definitely get what you pay for. There is a fantastic amount of smart features and the picture quality is much better than other LED TVs. There is an energy saver mode, which can definitely help the electricity bills, and the built-in speakers are a small savings.

Sony X900E Wrap Up

For a great HDR TV with a gorgeous LED display, the Sony X900E is definitely right for you. It has one of the best picture qualities on the market, and is the best TV in terms of connectivity and smart features.
