Pros
  • Up to 50 devices
  • Easy setup
  • Smart parental controls
Cons
  • May have to contact cable company to help set up

Performance

Just like the Netgear Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR500, you’re getting a fine performance from the Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200 tri-band Wi-Fi router R8000 device. With this router, you can plug in game consoles, streaming players, computers, and other nearby wire devices with 4 X 1-gigabit ethernet ports.

Range

This Netgear Nighthawk tri-band wireless router will give you up to 3500 square feet of coverage. It could also allow you to connect up to 50 devices at the same time which is excellent for a device of this kind. It’s not quite like the Netgear XR700, which can prioritize gaming devices to reduce lag. But, close enough.

Durability

Externally, the device is built to stay strong and last, much like the TP-Link AX6000. You can get plenty of time and usage with this router sitting on a shelf, in a closet, or anywhere that you see fit. As for internal privacy security, you’re getting everything you need including parental controls.

Ease of Use

Very simple to set up this router, like the TP-Link AC1750. Use the on-screen app on your phone or tablet. The Nighthawk app makes it a snap to set up by just connecting your ethernet cable to the router and the App will walk you through it.

Value

Not only are you getting a great value for a device that can connect up to 50 other wireless devices to your network for over 3500 sq. ft., but it pretty much pays for itself by allowing you to cut out that rental fee on your monthly cable bill. For those who would love a mini router, the GL.iNet GL-AR300M Mini works pretty well.
