Consensus

our Verdict

The Bushnell Wingman View is an excellent outdoor speaker for music. Featuring an excellent Bluetooth range of 331.4 feet and low 45 ms iOS Bluetooth latency (95 ms on Android), there is no noticeable lip-syncing lap during video playback. However, explore our JBL Flip 4 review if you want multi-device Bluetooth pairing. The Bushnell Wingman View speaker has a decent sound profile, a 113.1 to 16000 Hz frequency response range, and a 0.29 overall slope. However, it’s unable to reproduce low-thumping bass.

Thankfully, it has a graphic EQ + presets for customizing the sound profile and a battery life of 12 hours ranks in the bottom third of our tested certified speakers. With a maximum output of 88.8 dB, this unit is loud enough for big rooms. However, although it supports stereo, it has a poor soundstage. It also lacks voice assistants or Wi-Fi.

ReasonS to Buy

  • Impressive build quality
    • This speaker has an IPX6 waterproof construction, so it’s suitable for golf courses. It’s well-built and looks at last well remarkably.

  • Portable design
    • Weighing in at just 1.6 lbs, the Wingman View is very portable.

Reason to Avoid

  • Unimpressive sound quality
    • With a frequency response range of 113.1 Hz to 16000 Hz and 0.29 slope, the audio is unbalanced, lacking deep bass out of the box.

    • Although it supports stereo, it has a narrow soundstage, so it’s not very immersive for movies and music.

  • Average battery life
    • With a battery life of 12 hours, the Bushnell Wingman View scores in the bottom third of the speakers speakers on our list.

  • Limited connectivity options
    • This speaker only connects via Bluetooth and doesn’t support Wi-Fi or have physical inputs and outputs.
