Design
Weber’s E-425 is clean, compact, and ready to work. The porcelain-enameled, cast-iron grates retain heat like a champ. The updated lid design traps more heat, and the 7mm stainless steel Flavorizer bars do their job: enhancing flavor and minimizing flare-ups. Dual hammertone side tables give you extra space, and tool hooks keep your setup tight. This isn’t a showpiece—it’s a daily driver.

Dimensions and Build
- Width: 51.8 inches
- Height: 46.2 inches
- Depth: 26.6 inches
- Weight: 103 lbs
The cart-style build rolls well on flat ground but the plastic wheels are the weak link. The cabinet hides your propane tank and offers minor storage. Bonus points for Snap-Jet ignition on each burner and thick grates that handle everything from ribeyes to veggies.
Grilling Performance
We hit 500°F in just under 10 minutes during testing, and the sear zone reached 700°F—ideal for crusty steaks. The burners responded quickly to adjustments, and there were no major cold spots. Even on indirect setups, like smoking wings or slow-cooking chops, the Spirit held stable temps from 300°F to 400°F. Flare-ups were minimal and the Flavorizer bars added a smokey depth we didn’t expect from a gas grill.
Ease of Use
Assembly took us under two hours with well-labeled parts and clear instructions. Snap-Jet ignition lit reliably every time. Cleanup is fast with a removable grease tray, and the grates wipe down easily. Just note: there’s no digital temp monitoring here—everything’s analog, but well-designed.
