GOOVI 1600PA Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Review

9.2
Expert Rating

Without dropping large sums to clean thicker carpets, the choices for a robotic vacuum that can tackle anything other than hard floors and thin carpeting are slim, at best. The GOOVI 1600PA Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, however, offers strong performance against thick carpeting and pet hair, without charging you a ridiculous amount. It’s a serious contender as the best robot vacuum for the job.

Why We Like It – GOOVI 1600PA Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Review

With power suction, low profile, and side brushes, this GOOVI robot vacuum is well-equipped to tackle pet hair, hard floors, and medium carpeting. Affordable pricing makes it a good choice for entry-level robot vacuums, too.

Pros
  • Really great on hard floors and medium carpet
  • Ideal choice for pet hair
  • 1600PA of suction power
Cons
  • Occasionally gets stuck

Performance

GOOVI 1600PA Robotic Vacuum Cleaner’s strength is pet hair and medium carpets—hard floors, too, but what robot vacuum isn’t? Part of its secret is the 1600Pa of suction power, 300Pa more than the EUFY BoostIQ RoboVac 11S, the best on our list. The other secret is its side brushes, which sweep dirt into its robotic maw. The GOOVI robot vacuum’s performance is compounded by its cleaning modes, providing the right amount of power whether it’s cleaning a low pile carpet, or sucking in pet hair. You can set schedules for it to operate automatically or by remote control. It has a runtime of 120 minutes, 20 minutes more than the ILIFE V3s Pro.

Design

The GOOVI 1600PA Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is a rather small device, as per usual with robot vacuums, with dimensions of 12.75 x 12.79 x 2.83 inches. It sits low to the ground, which not only helps keep a seal when cleaning, it doubles as a way to vacuum underneath furniture. And since it is battery-powered, it comes with a charging station. When it is low on battery, it will get back to the station to charge up.

Value

This robot vacuum GOOVI has manufactured has some really good value. Not only does it perform well, it is priced fairly. This is especially true for someone who wants to invest in the right robot vacuum, but does not want to spend ridiculous amounts for robotic vacuums. Still, $187 might be a lot for some people, but remember: convenience does come at a small cost. Compare this with the Ecovacs DEEBOT N79S, which is close in performance, and we still think the GOOVI comes out on top.

GOOVI 1600PA Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Review Wrap Up

During our review GOOVI did impress us with its robot vacuum, even if occasionally it would get stuck around awkwardly placed furniture. Make sure nothing is on the floor and you’ll rarely have an issue. The GOOVI 1600PA Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is especially tough against hard floors, medium carpets, and pet hair. You can’t go wrong with this one.
