If you’re on the market for more than just the best electric toothbrush, the Waterpik Complete Care 5.0 is the full package. Waterpik’s cleaning package offers more than just an amazing electrical toothbrush, but other oral care tools like a water flosser among other attachments. This is the package you want when you need to take oral care to the next level.

Why We Like It – Waterpik Complete Care 5.0

The Waterpik Complete Care 5.0 provides all the necessary tools, aside from an electric toothbrush, to give you a healthier and cleaner smile than ordinary oral products.

Pros
  • Includes electric toothbrush and water flosser
  • Water reservoir holds 90 seconds of water
  • Includes other oral care products
Cons
  • Needs an electrical outlet
  • Doesn’t include string floss

Performance

The electric toothbrush performs just as well as most premium electric toothbrushes, though the Oral-B 7000 SmartSeries has it beat. However, its toothbrush head has a pretty nice tongue scrubber. There’s three clean modes: clean, whiten, and massage. That’s two more modes than the Phillips Sonicare Essence. If you want an electric toothbrush with cheap brush heads, then check out our Burst Sonic toothbrush review.

The tooth brush cranks out 31,000 strokes per minute. Battery life varies based on the length of your brushing habits. Brushing twice a day for two minutes will get you around 8 sessions before it needs recharging. It’s a decent battery, but the Fairywill Electric Toothbrush has it beat by having a 30-day battery life.

The Waterpik water flosser is a joy to use. You can set the water pressure between 10 PSI and 100 PSI with the dial located on the side. There’s several tips included such as classic jet, plaque seeker, orthodontic, and pik pocket.

Design

Waterpik made the right decision going with a slimmer design from its last model without sacrificing build quality. It’s far better at conserving counter space. It comes in two different colors: black and white. The white model, the Waterpik WP-861W, is less susceptible to showing dirt and grime. Read our Pro-Sys VarioSonic Electric toothbrush review for a toothbrush with strong cleaning power.

The water flosser sits comfortable on a small clip, while below it the wires can be coiled into a small space. The triple sonic toothbrush fits snug in its own housing that forces it upright. To get any use out of the water flosser, it needs an open electrical outlet.

Value

Considering how well the Waterpik Complete Care 5.0 performs, and all the additional brush heads, the 5.0 has really great value. Waterpik isn’t kidding when it says a “complete care” package. Having an electric toothbrush is fine and all, but for the best smile, the Complete Care 5.0 gives you everything you need except for string floss. To sweeten the deal, you even get a travel case in the event you want to take it with you. In fact, even if you’re using a regular toothbrush, you can still use the travel case.

Waterpik Complete Care 5.0 Wrap Up

Just the electrical toothbrush alone will give you a cleaner mouth than you had days ago. While it excludes string floss on its list, it makes up for it by providing an excellent Waterpik water flosser. Being able to hold 90 seconds worth of water, the water flosser seals the deal. The entire Waterpik Complete Care 5.0 package will give you a healthier mouth than you had months ago.
