Performance/Display/Resolution/Refresh
The Samsung Q9F is a QLED LCD TV with a motion rate of 240 (120hz refresh rate) for clear video games. This has twice the refresh rate of the Samsung Q80T QLED. QLED TVs meet the highest Ultra HD standards defined by the Consumer Electronics Association, so you know Samsung makes great quality TVs. It has a Direct Full Array LED with an anti-reflective screen for more beautiful details and depth. It also has a High Dynamic Range powered by HDR 10+ (not Dolby Vision) for a better picture, as well as color Quantum Dots. Finally, there’s the Q Engine that swiftly processes color, HDR content, and 4K. For an option that does have Dolby Vision, read our Samsung 8000 Series review. The Samsung has a lot of picture quality options and settings, allowing you to adjust the local dimming zones and black levels for a beautiful contrast. Overall, it’s a great HDR TV. Compare it to another model, the Samsung Q80R. If you want to step up to an OLED TV option, you can read our OLED65E8PUA review.

All of Samsung’s QLED TVs are guaranteed against burn-in, so you know you’re getting a high-quality product.
