Testers hailed the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet vacuum’s ability to pick up pet dander and also liked that it had a wide cleaning path. However, they didn’t appreciate its plasticky build quality and lack of a HEPA anti-allergen filter.
They also complained that its noise level was quite loud, and that its 0.3 kPa suction force was low.

Product Snapshot
Overview
The Bissel CleanView Swivel Pet is an entry-level vacuum cleaner that was first launched in 2018. It is designed for cleaning pet dander and is one of the top vacuum cleaners in its entry-level category. It works well on low and high pile carpet and does a much better job than the Bobsweep Bob Pro.
It has pre and post-motor filters and a dirt compartment that can hold up to 1 liter of dust and debris and cleans up to 92% of debris on bare floors and 87% on low pile carpets a lot better than it cleans high pile carpets since it picks up to 44% there.
With a cord length of 26.9 ft, users will be able to reach most places without having to switch sockets, and since it also comes with several specialty tools such as a turbo brush, a crevice tool, an upholstery tool, and an extension wand, it gets a bit easier to clean hard-to-reach areas.
Consensus
our Verdict
The Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet vacuum cleaner impressed with its ability to pick up pet dander from different surfaces. Experts from Modern Castle were delighted with its 13.5-inch cleaning path (wider than the 12-inch cleaning path of the Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro), as they confirmed that it made cleaning large areas much faster.
Given its 16-pound weight, the Swivel Pet is a lot heavier than the 1.2-pound handheld Bissel AeroSlim, but despite this, product reviewers from Rtings were pleased with how easy it was to maneuver.
They discovered that its 26.9 ft power cord didn’t have them switching sockets frequently, and its swivel steering made it easier to clean around tight corners.
Still, reviewers were not impressed with its lack of a HEPA filter, as this feature is hard to miss in some of the best Miele vacuums. Also disappointing was its plasticky build and its fairly loud 84.3 dB noise level.
