You can pretty much sign us up for anything related to old school video games. We’re talking early 80s – there will never be anything quite like them. Case in point, “Excitebike”, “Mario Bros.”, “Duck Hunt”, and of course the greatest puzzle game of them all “Tetris”. However, our Nintendo sh*t the bed long ago, and our Gameboy, well, we don’t know where that got off to.
No matter, because we can now wake up to not only the Tetris theme song every morning at the crack of noon, but watch the minutes tick by as the Tetris pieces fall into place to form the ticking minutes. It sure does beat that “:” symbol flashing incessantly in our faces every morning. It’s just too bad we won’t be able to knock out a quick game (it’s not playable) in bed before we rise and tackle a bowl of Cocoa Krispies each morning.
The Tetris Alarm Clock has a 12/24 hour clock option, snooze function, a backlit display, a Tetris shaped button on the front, and runs on three AA batteries. ThinkGeek sells it for $30.
