Carbon fiber is cool. Carbon fiber added to anything makes it cooler. The Carbon Fiber money clip is no exception. But it’s more than a money clip, it’s a complete wallet. Aside from preventing thieves from nabbing info off your RFID embedded credit card – we’ve never used or seen one – this wallet is built to last.
Unlike other money clips, or ones that don’t sport a hinge, this one will never weaken or break – according to Hammacher Carbon Fiber is five times stronger than steel and is most certainly lighter. It’s built to hold up to 20 bills in your fold, though we don’t know if it can hold much less without them falling out. The leather wallet can hold up to 10 cards, and also has a receipt pocket for those that need to keep tabs on their purchases and prefer to not use apps such as Lemon. The clip is fully removable so you can use it on its own, or simply opt for just the wallet if you’re not of the cash carrying type. The whole wallet measures 2 3/4″ L x 3 3/4″ W and weighs just 1 oz, making it ideal for the front pocket. That means no more back pocket bulge and with it an aching back.
Hammacher sells it for $150.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
