Wanna give your photographer friend a heart attack? Next time you meet in the wee early hours roll up with one of these: an insulated coffee mug disguised as a $700 Canon 70-200mm L-Series lens. Apparently, Canon was handing these out at this year’s winter Olympics. It would be a crying shame to mix up the two in an early morning dash out the door, but you’d have to be pretty thick, or drunk, to achieve that feat.

So Canon, can we buy one? This sure would make for a great stocking stuffer or gag gift for whatelse, the photographer in everyone’s life.

If Canon, and Nikon are as sharp as they want us to believe, each will make these coffee mugs enmasse, in their respective signature 70-200 lenses, and sell them every where they can. These mugs will quickly become the must have of most photographers both professional and those who dream to be.

Wake up Canon and Nikon, this would be a great revenue stream!!!!!
