Bagels have the tendency to go stale very fast, as in 1 to 2 days – 2 if you’re lucky, any more and you’re not eating a true bagel (you Jews know what I’m talking about).  Enter the Battery Operated Bagel Dome.  I’m resisting the temptation to draw pun to Mad Max, but for those of you who saw the movies you’d know food was few and far between and this little kitchen contraption would have been a welcome device in their arsenal of survival tools.  To activate the vacuum seal you simply press down on the top and via the power of two C batteries, the mini motor sucks at the oxidizing air, making your bagels last longer and taste fresher for days to come.  You can grab one from Taylor Gifts for $40.
