When you’re looking for the best grills, the best indoor grills, or the best electric grill especially, it can be a little overwhelming because there are so many options. Well, why not both? The Zojirushi Indoor combines the power of an electric grill with the easy-to-clean convenience of an indoor grill into a capable machine.
The Zojirushi Indoor Electric Grill EB CC15 is a powerful and light machine that will take you less than five minutes to set up. Its high grilling temperature ensures perfectly cooked meals, and the larger grilling surface means you can feed more people than just yourself. If you need a larger yet still portable option, check out our Coleman Roadtrip 285 review. However, if you need a great option for a built-in grill, we have a great review of the Bull Grill you can read.
The Zojirushi Grill has a temperature range that tops out at about 410℉, but this can be expanded to an impressive 520℉. However, this means it can be a little hard to control the temperature on the heating element, and thus easy to overcook your food. For something a little more controllable, check out the George Foreman 4 or Weber Q2400.

The cooking surface on the Zojirushi Indoor Grill is about 280 square inches, give or take, which is pretty impressive for an indoor grill. It’s definitely bigger than the T-Fal OptiGrill electric grill. And, it’s big enough for a single person or even a family of four; the Zojirushi Indoor should be able to handle your steaks and seafood vegetables without issue. You can also check out the Secura GR-1503XL for another example of an indoor grill with a large surface. Or, if you need a grill for camping, read our Cuisinart gas grill review to see if it will suit your needs.
One of the best things about the Zojirushi Indoor is how light it is. At seven pounds, it’s just about the lightest indoor grill we’ve seen. It’s lighter than some of the top electric smokers that sometimes need repairs. Even the Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Searing Grill weighs more than this, albeit by only a pound though. It’s made of plastic and aluminum, though. It’s not bad, but for the price, we would have expected something more durable, like stainless steel. For another durable grill, check out our Coleman Roadtrip grill review.

Easy Cleaning seems to be a mantra of the Zojirushi Indoor. The dual-layer nonstick grilling surface means food won’t get stuck, thus eliminating the need to constantly scrape after you’re done cooking, and the grill design directs excess oils into the drip pan and not onto your countertops. Unfortunately, the grilling surface isn’t dishwasher safe, but the drip pan is.
Customer reviews on Amazon are largely positive, scoring 4.5/5 stars based on over 800 reviews. For another highly rated option, read our Philips Smokeless Indoor Grill review, which has 4.5/5 stars based on over 3,000 reviews. The grill also comes with cool-touch handles, so you won’t require mittens if you need to grab the machine. They’re there so you don’t get burned, so please use them. It’s a little on the expensive side, sure, but it’s still under $100 and definitely not the most expensive we’ve seen.
Anyone who decides to spend the money will be happy with their purchase of the Zojirushi Indoor Grill. More importantly, they will be able to feed themselves and/or their families quickly and efficiently. And although the grilling surface may not be dishwasher safe, you shouldn’t have to worry too much about it, considering it’s non-stick.
