The Yuba Electric Boda Boda Bike is the best electric cargo bikes great option for families with dozens of available accessories, including bamboo decks, storage crates, pop-top covers, and more. We loved the Shimano Steps E6100 motor, which adequately handles inclines and can go up to 20 MPH, and the Tektro Vela hydraulic disc brakes, which we found excelled on wet and slippery terrain. The sturdy aluminum frame was also a highlight, further increasing this cargo bike’s safety rating. Even though not as highly ranked as the Rad Power Bikes RadWagon the Yuba Electric Boda Boda still impresses. For carrying cargo, there is no doubt that it is among the best electric bikes.

Durability & Build Quality

With a total length of only 81″, the Packa is just a tad bit longer than a regular bike. The 24″ wheels and low step-over frame of only 21″ allow for a low center of gravity and easy handling. Carry up to 200lbs in 200 different combinations. However, if you have a need for 400+ lb capacity, you’ll want to check out the Urban Arrow Shorty electric cargo bike.

The pedal assist is powered by the E6000 Shimano Steps ensuring that wherever you’re going, if it’s commuting through city traffic or heading out into the countryside, you’ll arrive at your final destination feeling fresh.

Performance (Speed & Acceleration)

The powerful rear motor provides up to 750 watts peak output putting you up to 70mpc, miles per charge with about 5 hours to charge. It features a direct drive technology that spins the motor directly without any internal gears, providing high durability and super quiet operations not dissimilar to the Yuba Spicy Curry V3 Electric Cargo Bike.

Range & Battery

One of the most important parts of any ebike is the battery, the quality of the battery is directly related to the quality of your riding experience. The bike features a dual battery system with an incredible 1,171Wh, using high-capacity 35E Samsung cells that give you up to 70 miles per charge and 25,000 miles of battery lifetime. In many people’s opinion, only the best is good enough when it comes to a battery. For another bike with similar features, check out the Bianchi Impulso E-Road electric bike.

Safety Features

Ride safe with smart safety features such as a built-in brake light that automatically lights up when you brake alongside automatic engine power cut-off when you brake and puncture-resistant tires with Kevlar technology, making the Yuba Boda the safest E-bike available.

Value

The biggest reasons to buy the bike are probably the electric assist and rear rack, as it can easily double your carrying capacity with things like spare batteries, groceries, or another person. The high weight limit makes it the best cargo bike available that doesn’t leave you pulling a wagon behind. With just your email address, you’ll be able to get any customer service you need for the bike.

Yuba Electric Boda Boda Wrap Up

All in all, it seems like a good bike if you don’t need the handlebar’s computer too much, the proximity of the buttons up there ah reportable leading to some needing to stop to work it over the other options like the Tern GSD S10 Electric Cargo Bike offers.
