The Winsome Spectrum stool can be used for a wide range of applications. The stool, like many of the finest armless office chairs, has a seat that’s made of faux leather, so you can be sure that it’s as comfortable as it looks. The height of the leather seat can be adjusted to fit your height preference, and its footrest has an open loop, so you’ll be able to rest your feet as you sit on it. The stool is also really easy to put together, and as you do so, you won’t really need any tools or any additional assistance. Could this be enough to win it the top spot as the best standing desk chair? How well does it stack up against the best office chair? Stick around, and we’ll help you find out.
The Winsome 93129 Spectrum Stool is a simple-looking chrome base stool that’s got a faux leather seat, an airlift feature to adjust the seat’s height, and a chrome base with an open loop footrest.
If you’re on the market for a swivel stool, like THE ORIGINAL balance fit desk stool, then chances are pretty high that you can’t be expecting something that comes with any kind of back support. The Winsome Spectrum stool back certainly doesn’t have any kind of lumbar support on it, so if you tend to suffer from back pain or any kind of back condition, then this is not the leather seat chrome base stool for you. The Flash Furniture Mid Back chair, on the other hand, might be worth considering since it comes with an ergonomic backrest.

Comfort is guaranteed on the Winsome Spectrum Stool thanks to the faux leather seat. This seat has some element of padding, but because it’s a stool, you won’t get any adjustable arms or a backrest as you would with the Modway Veer Drafting Chair.

Adjusting the seat height of this Winsome Spectrum stool is pretty simple, thanks to the airlift stool. All you have to do to lift it up is to pull or push the adjustable height lever that’s just below the seat, and you’ll be able to adjust the height of the stool to your desired level. The stool’s lowest level is 22.72 inches, and it can be raised up to 30.83 inches.
It goes without saying that the breathability on the Winsome Stool, or any other stool for that matter, is really a non-issue because most of your body will remain exposed, so there will be more than enough airflow. With that said, then you won’t bother looking at the VANSPACE executive high-back leather office chair or the Yaheetech white desk chair, as they can get very sweaty after sitting in them for long periods.
There is just a little bit of assembly required with this Winsome chair, but unlike the Seville Classics Airlift 360 Sit-Stand Adjustable Ergonomic Active Balance Non-Slip Desk Stool, this stool comes with the hardware included as well as the required tools that you’ll have to use to put it together. Also worth taking note of is the stool’s weight capacity. The stool is only able to accommodate users of up to 200 pounds, and has a sturdy metal frame that keeps it nice and stable as you use it.
There’s really not much that makes this Winsome Spectrum Stool a lot better than what you’re already used to. The leather seat chrome base stool looks great, has a leather seat, and is very easy to assemble.
