Overview
The WideWheel Pro is a 2020 mid-tier dual-motor electric scooter that promises thrilling acceleration for commuters and enthusiasts. As its name suggests, this electric scooter has ultrawide tires, which provide an exhilarating floating feeling when ridden on smooth roads.
It reaches a top speed of 27 mph and accelerates from 0 to 15 mph in 3.2 seconds, providing a fast ride. Its range of about 19 miles appears tame when compared to most other scooters in its class, but it should be okay for the typical commute.
Unlike its predecessor, the WideWheel, which has a single rear mechanical disc brake, the WideWheel Pro has dual disc brakes that do an excellent job of stopping this electric scooter. Mercane has built up a following among enthusiasts by designing scooters with a futuristic, space-inspired aesthetic, and the WideWheel Pro with its sci-fi-themed charcoal gray frame embodies this concept in every way.
However, this scooter’s suspension is stiff, and its ride gets bumpy on rough roads. Also, steering the Pro in tight spaces is a bit challenging. Continue reading our WideWheel Pro review to discover how this scooter stacks up against the top electric scooters in the industry.

our Verdict

The WideWheel Pro is a great choice for weekend joyriders. It’s got rapid acceleration, a top speed of 27 mph, and a thrilling ride quality. The extra-wide polyurethane-filled airless tires provide great stability. But, the stiff suspension, lack of traction on wet roads, and steering issues mean it’s not the best choice for regular commuters.
