White Xbox One Revealed with Sunset Overdrive Bundle

Remember last year’s buzz about a white Xbox One available only to Microsoft employees? That’s changed now with Microsoft official unveiling of the White console first available to the masses in the Xbox One Sunset Overdrive bundle for $399.99.

The bundle is a pre-order at the moment, and will officially launch October 28th, 2014 – the same date as its included game Sunset Overdrive releases. At $399, it’s the same price as the current black colored Standard Edition console, except you’re essentially getting a $60 game for free.

Sunset Overdrive received a lot of positive feedback back during E3 as a light hearted 3rd person shooter in an apocalypse scenario. It’s being developed by Insomniac Games and is an Xbox One exclusive.

The trailer for the Sunset Overdrive can be found here.

It will be interesting to see if this title will become a “real” Xbox One exclusive (as it may eventually make its way on the PC in a later year). While gamers may be surprised that the title is an XBox One exclusive and not being available on the PlayStation 4, the developer went into a bit more detail on their decision earlier this month over at GameSpot.
